Postpartum Services

Whether you are expecting your baby in a few months, a few days, or your new little human has already arrived, we are ready to help.

How can we help? This is usually answered by asking what do you need? That is sort of an unfair question though, isn’t it? Because most of the time we don’t know what we need until we need it and with babies, those needs can change from one minute to the next. Your postpartum doula knows this and as a trained professional, she can help anticipate your needs.

Picture this: you are home with your new baby, and it is exciting and wonderful. What if it is also overwhelming and you have questions? Maybe you are also tired, hungry, desperately wanting to shower or nap, or maybe you’d like a few minutes to connect with your partner or snuggle your little one even though the laundry still needs to get done?

Your postpartum doula will meet you where you are at, help get you what you need in the moment, listen to your thoughts and concerns, and help set you up for future success.

She can snuggle your little one while you take a shower, prepare a healthy meal or snacks, put on a load of laundry, or quietly let you catch a much-needed nap or quiet time with your new family knowing your doula is taking care of the never-ending dishes and laundry.

Your postpartum doula can help play with older siblings and pets and find ways to help the whole family adjust to your new addition. She will be there to bring you non judgemental, evidence-based information to help you navigate the questions you have and connect you to resources you will need.

Your postpartum doula can also provide much needed overnight support to help you and your baby get much needed rest.
